Area guide for buying property in the Costa Blanca, Spain

As one of Europe's main tourist destinations, its golden beaches, clear skies, challenging golf courses and delicious gastronomy attract many visitors for holidays and round the year living.

North
To the north of the ‘white coast,’ majestic mountains provide the backdrop to lush olive groves and vineyards, with coves and headlands sheltering picturesque fishing villages. The port of Gandia is an undiscovered gem and Denia, with its famous castle, offers commanding views of the Balearics. By contrast, the entertainment capital Benidorm offers a range of clubs, a theme park, aqua park and Marine World.

South
To the south it gets hotter and flatter, lush greenery giving way to the biggest palm gardens and salt flats in Europe. Alicante boasts excellent shops, museums and cafes, with fiestas throughout the year. Neighbouring Torrevieja caters for a range of sports, including three outstanding golf courses. Further south, the historic town of Orihuela is home to churches and buildings dating back to the Spanish conquests.

Getting There
Alicante has a very well established International Airport with budget and scheduled flights servicing this airport 7 days a week.  Excellent low cost airfares and flight connections and park and fly facilities make this airport very easy to use.  Alternatively you can use San Javier airport which is only 15 mins to the southern point of Costa Blanca
